Prairie Underground

Seattle based Prairie Underground is influenced by and derived from ’80s fashion, yet never trendy, Eckersley and Lindner have been co-designing since 2005. Prairie Underground’s clothes are architectural and contemporary, characterized by a body-conscious, structured slouchiness, allowing women of all body types to find a look that suits them. Prairie Underground chooses materials such as domestically grown organic cotton fleece and jersey, as well as hemp and denim all in overdyed and lush colors, Eckersley and Lindner make clothes that can be worn with high heels or Converse high tops, adding details that combine both masculine and feminine design elements. They dress a woman who wants to be casual, comfortable, and fashionable.
